My PSYCH: Cognition book cost around $95 dollars. Wahh. Got a used calculus book for only $45, though. Hopefully Val will give me a decent price on her chem one, though, and at least I don't have to buy another biology book this semester. Hopefully, I'll only spend around $200 this semester. And at least I'll only have 4 books and two lab manuels, not the shitload of paperback books that I was forced to buy last year. Maybe I should start selling my books from last semester...

Have realized how inconvenient some parts of my schedule are, such as going from the Science Center to Pendleton between classes and then from Pendleton to the SAME room in the Science Center after that class is done. Oh, and also if I get into the phys. ed. class that I want, I'll have to run all the way across campus from the Science Center to the Sports Center in ten minutes. Ah, maybe the instructor will consider that my warm-up.

Roomie is back. The down-to-earth one. The other rich roomie already came back, but she's staying w/ her boyfriend until class begins. Rich roomie only has classes two days a week. She says she didn't plan it that way, but Californie roomie and I think she wants to spend the rest of the time with her boyfriend. Am slightly jealous, though, because she only has classes 8 times a week while I have classes...well, a whole lot more than that.

Was the temporary dispatcher for maintenance services on Friday while a party for a boss was held. Was all gung-ho about using the radio and telling people where to go, but sadly, only one real call came in about a stuck elevator. Sigh. Was bored the rest of the day.

French wintersession class ended today! Happy. Dunno what I'll get on it. I'm thinking a B+ or A-, but I dunno. Messed up a bit on the oral, but that's only because the other person forgot a line, which made me forget my line after that. So we improvised half of it. Oh, well. Also got to eat a croissant from an authentic French pastry shop in Wellesley. Good, but all the butter made me feel like I was going to have a heart attack right then and there.

Need to visit ATM machine. Have only $5 on me after I paid that girl for her calculus book. And Jenno's coming next week, too.

Am paranoid that my Momo plushie will not come in the mail. But the seller on ebay didn't have any negative feedback... Am also somewhat hitting myself on the head after seeing another of the same Momo plushie for ten dollars cheaper on ebay. Well, people will probably bid on it anyway, and I'm too tired to put up a fight like the one with the Tezuka plushie.

Random comments: Is it wrong to want the Inui animal plushie (the one where he's a goat)? I think he's so cute there, esp. with the glinting glasses. And for those who say otherwise, Inui is very hot. They said he was hot without his glasses, but if anyone's seen the picture w/ him in a nice coat and a scarf holding out a book, they'd say he was hot with them on, too. Squeals...me wuvvles Inui.

Sniff. Why does everyone want Renji to win against Inui? Why?! *shakes chibi Momo fists in air* Seriously, doesn't anyone think that Inui needs to win something? Or is it all just this anti-Seigaku, pro-Rikkai flow that's been going on (for some unknown reason, esp. since the Rikkai characters haven't been properly fleshed out yet)? I'm all for some Inui love here...

Have figured out the reason why Jenno (alias: CalicoKitten) receives so little recognition in the PoT fandom: she has relations with certain people who differ in opinion from other influential PoT people. Did pretty well, especially in my Comedy class (so maybe I should bug my prof. and get my papers back from him...). So that last paper didn't suck after all. Got the expected grade in French 201, and although I was hovering between two grades, I got the higher one in philosophy. Must mean that the papers that I did overnight for its final also didn't suck too much. Gahh, but bio. pulled me down a little bit, although I did just ok, not great, on the final exam (I think).

Heh, parents called today at around 4 pm. I was awake but still in bed. Actually told them my grades for this semester. Funny reaction. Dad got very excited and said he was very proud. Am shocked. But at least this means that since I already told them one set of grades, I'm not going to tell them next semester's grades since those are (and I know they are) going to pull my GPA down, down, down...

Finally figured out my stupid can opener and ate spaghetti-o's today. Stupid generic store brand can opener...

Things that I said I'd do but haven't done yet: fix French essay, clean, burn things (esp. music for both Tam and Jenn), etc. Have to at least do French today so I don't feel like a slacker.

After all the Gackt, Luna Sea, and L'arc en Ciel songs that I got, I now have around 900 songs on my compie. Really need to burn, esp. if said compie crashes.

French 202 was boring at first, but it's okay now. Five days out of fifteen days of the wintersession class are completed! It's not too much work - kind of a review. But I really shouldn't keep slacking.

Ate cake and drank some Hard Mike's Lemonade yesterday. Gooood. But I still have to watch the PoT chibi episode, Tammo!

Am currently annoyed with people who are still complaining about anime fandoms, fangirls, and fanfiction. The fandom doesn't determine if you like or don't like, or keep watching or stop watching anime - it's the anime itself. Anything else is stupid. I mean, stop reading fanfiction or going on fansites if what the people write, whether inaccurate or not, bugs you. These people have the right to write, fantasize, and talk about whatever they want, even though the subjects may be overused a bit.

Sure, I complain about Kikumaru a lot, but the reason why I hate him has nothing to do with the PoT fandom - I simply dislike him due to the things in the anime and manga. And sure, I loathe Tezuka/Fuji, but I acknowledge that fanfiction authors can write whatever they want, pairings or otherwise, so I simply don't click on those. We should be glad when the anime we like are becoming popular since it reflects on those who struggled to make it in the first place.

I'm sure I have more to say about my life and other things, so when I remember, I'll try to blog about it more.

I think I need more protein...or something that deals with the urge and decision to eat some slices of lunchmeat without anything else at this time of day.

And why am I getting all of these visitors who are searching for Tezuka/Fuji stuff? Must do fun stuff (and go out and eat, as usual!).

Bwah ha ha ha ha! Heeee...so funny. Just checked the official TeniMyu page after not visiting for awhile. Heeeeeeee. The Fudomine doubles pair of Tetsu Isida (Ishida?) and Masaya Sakurai look like street punks. And there's an Elvis impersonation thrown in there through the hair as well. Laughing my head off here.

Seriously, why hasn't anyone told me to go to bed now?

Someone tell me to go to bed now. Sad.

But wheee! Finals are finally done! I actually didn't pull an all-nighter. Ha ha! But I did go to bed at around 6 am and woke up at around 9:30 am when Jenn knocked on my door and my alarm went off at the same time. Creepy. Sure, my philosophy essays suck ass, and my Comedy paper is up in the air, but they're done! Handed them in two hours before they were due!

Hopefully, I'll get an A or an A- on my Comedy paper final. The surprising thing is, the last paper that I wrote got a BIG, FAT A on it. Wheee! That's funny, though, since I really BS'ed it figuring that I'll try for a grade better than my average on the final. So it kinda sucks to get an A on the second to last paper when the grade for the final paper determines whether you keep your average or, if the final grade is higher, get that one instead. Wahh, and I really did aim lower on that last paper. This sucks ass, too.

Burned the TeniMyu musical on two CDs. Unfortunately, the first part kind of breaks up. I guess maybe because it's live-action AND singing AND a large file, thus causing the breaks. At least I have my TeniMyu OST...shut up, Jenno. I know you're laughing at my TeniMyu obsession. You know better than anyone how much I love cheesy, campy things. And although he does look old in the musical, Eizee is so cute! And Inui is so hot, and Tezuka is so hot. Not sure about the musical sequel with Fudomine, though, because Ryoma's Yanagi Koutaroh got into a car accident and can't appear in it. So it's be really funny seeing Kimeru as Ryoma; I wonder what all the Fuji fans will think once they realize this switching about of cast roles? I'm pretty sure Kimeru was chosen to be Fuji in the first musical because he looks like a woman, so the fangirls won't be happy about their Fuji switching roles! Hey, at least Kimeru will sing better, in which the other Ryoma was severely lacking.

Atobe had better fucking not lose to Ryoma in PoT 114. Yeah, Ryoma's good, but he's nowhere near the level of Atobe, Tezuka, etc. (probably even Tachibana, who SHOULD NOT have lost so soundly with only one game on him - he's national level, for crying out loud!). Sometimes I wonder about these PoT writers...

Need to watch LOTR: TTT, the extended version since a friend said Faramir was in it more AND is nicer, too. Faramir and Eowyn, now that's a good coupling.

Will sleep in the car on the way home today to make up for lost sleep. Two weeks with nothing to do! Yay!

I hate philosophy. I really do. Just finished my final this late. Three different topics talked about in at most two pages. Sucked since it was super hard consolidizing. Oh yeah, and because I just read the books last week and forgot what they were all about. Hey, it's not my fault I think moral philosophy is too boring and thus do not take notes or listen in class.

Now all I need to finish is the third draft of my Comedy final paper. Will speak more of the class tomorrow.

Procrastinated too much last week and this week. Oh, well. It's funny, because I busted my ass off during the beginning of the semester for okay grades, and when I start procrastinating more often, well, for some reason my grades get better. Wonder why.

Need lab report on stupid Tribolium beetles back. Want to see if adding in random info. did the trick.

I should sleep since my roommate just decided to go to bed. And Jenno's coming over (with Tammo as her tour guide) early tomorrow. Wait...today. Yeah...

But I'm not really tired right now, considering I slept from 3:30 am to 11 am today - I mean yesterday - despite the fact that I wanted to get to work early. Like at 8 am. Yeah, Michelle, when will you learn that that's not a reasonable goal for you?

Got the songs from the Prince of Tennis musical! It's from when they did the musical another time rather than using the music from the complete musical that I have. Too bad, because the guys are a lot flatter in the songs that I just got.

I don't really know why I'm blogging since I really should be in bed right now (esp. since I have to work early - around 8 or 9). Will do so soon.

Actually, I did only have around 3 or 4 hours of sleep last night (or is that today?). Had to study for my bio. exam, which had some essays worth a shitload of points and others not so much. Was surprised that I finished it on time - it was ok, but that doesn't mean that I'll necessarily get a good grade.

Went to Boston with Jenno and a few friends to see LOTR: The Return of the King! Yay! It was so worth it riding the T numerous times and the bus (which took up around as much time as the movie). Matinee showing at 2:45! Soooooooooooooo goooooooooooood. Quite possibly my favorite. Needed more Faramir and Eowyn, 'cause they were just kickass. Will not spoil any further until Tammo sees it.

Discovered more people that like fanfiction and guy-on-guy action. Too bad the girl that likes it is the one I'm always complaining about (Comedy class - talks too much about herself). Have decided with friend that Wellesley is the place for slash lovers to be.

More Luna Sea songs! Am too in love with their songs. More!

Going to bed. Will write first and final draft of philosophy paper tomorrow when I am half awake.

Quick update: I have not gotten anything done. Just started the first draft of my last comedy paper. Did not start my philosophy paper yet. Still need more studying done for Bio. on Wednesday. Heh, and I'm going to see the last Lord of the Rings movie in Boston, too. I'm such a slacker.

In love with another song: Trigun's "Rakuen." Yes, the extremely sad Wolfwood one. But so good.

Got more Luna Sea songs this week. Am very happy.

Wanted to skip work but went anyway. Sucks. Took time off from my paper-writing.

Have the TeniMyu songs in my head. Maybe that's why I'm not forming too many coherant phrases here - the songs are turning my head to mush.

May blog before going home for Christmas break. If not, who really reads this, anyway?

Woke up pretty early today to do the final draft of my Comedy paper. But when I went on the computer at 9, I found that the Prince of Tennis musical was pretty fast in downloading on Bittorrent. So I got that and watched it. So cheesy, but since I like cheesiness, it was good. Um, as good as a high school musical, that is. Not that that's a bad thing, though. Anyway, M. Eiji stole the show as Momo, even if he's plainly seen to be old, Tammo. Kaidou was so much taller than the others, Kawamura was cute in his scenes, Ryoma just sucked ass (can't he stay on pitch when he holds out his notes?!), Fuji's actor (Kimeru, I think) sang the best (and then Momo) but weirded me out with his hair...and teeth. Kikumaru just wasn't...worth noticing, but Oishi was okay even if he didn't really look like anime Oishi. And of course, Tezuka was hot, but Inui (I think Souta was the guy's name) was soooo pretty. And that's saying something since I usually don't think Asian guys are hot.

Couldn't really see any Tezuka/Fuji-ness in the show. Maybe it's because I don't like the pairing. But some people say they can see it since Fuji always sings when Tezuka's onscreen and gives him these "looks," but Tezuka's the buchou, so the best singer has to sing then. I could see Tezuka/Oishi hints, though (hee hee, Tammo), especially at the end where Oishi sees if Tezuka's ticklish or not. Ooh, I could also see Tezuka/Inui (or is that Inui/Tezuka) hints since they like to stand near each other such as when Kawamura gets the racket from Kaidou. And I can use the same thing that people say about Tezuka/Fuji - Tezuka usually sings when Inui is onscreen. And they both don't dance much and don't do too well on high notes. Hey, the actors are both models, so they'd be hot together. Yum.

Handed in my Comedy paper at 4, thirty minutes before the due date time. The paper sucked, but I figure I'll work hard on the next one to get a better grade than my average, because then I would get that grade then. Planned on reading bio. today since I want to take the final on Monday or Tuesday, but that didn't work out. Played Crash at Tammo's and made fun of the PoT musical.

Wrote a check from my own account to reimburse someone since the bursar's office is full of crap right now. But the person I gave the check to really shouldn't have paid if she needed the money back so soon. Doesn't anyone actually save money in the bank in case their reimbursements come in late anymore? Grrr...and I was elected for another term as treasurer next year.

Planning on burning lots of CD's tomorrow since my anime folder has about 45 gigs of stuff in it. That's sad. But the CD burning will force me not to use the computer for stupid stuff and concentrate on my finals instead. Too bad I also have bells and work tomorrow. Oh, well.

Jenn! Update! Amanda doesn't know what you did without me! Wahh! But we might do that thing (no, nothing sexual - get your mind out of the gutter!) again in PA, so you should come along, Amanda!

Thanks for not showing up at the PLTC, French oral exam partner. It's pretty old, too - a 1994 song. So good.

Ok, I have no idea why I'm posting this since it's very much apparent that I have tons of work to do. But after recent discussions with Tammo that regulated Eiji from PoT to bottom of our list, I thought more about the subject and watched a few more PoT episodes. All I can say is, "What the hell?!" Why is it that whenever Eiji is in the "zone," he's unstoppable? Just look at the bowling and billiards episodes. Everyone says that it's going to be hard to stop Eiji when he's on his game. Uh-huh. Why do the writers make him out to be so good at everything? And they keep upgrading him, with the "split" image thing and making him beat Kabaji. In the manga, Oishi has always beaten Kikamaru, but what does our acting captain get? Nothing! Grrr. Sorry, Tammo, but I think Eiji just beat Fuji and is now my least favorite Seigaku character. But in good news, Oishi beat Tezuka to be my third favorite now!

To make this post not as pointless, I'm happy to say that my bio. lab report is now handed in. It was 8 pages in 11 font Times New Roman. Heh. I didn't BS it quite as much as I thought I would. Also found out that my Comedy paper didn't suck quite like crap either. Needs tweaking. Good, because I'm going to focus on the next paper more than this one, because if the grade on that one is greater than our average, we get that grade instead.

Let's all spread the Oishi love...with Tezuka.

Friday went relatively well, but today? Nooooooooooo, crap galore! And the snow had nothing to do with it. I like snow. But everything else sucked today.

Friday was fun. Went to lab. My partner and I BS'ed our way through our oral lab presentation. Was good since there was much chocolate there, too. Went to anime showing after working on lab report. Sat with friends, and Tammo yelled at me for not sitting on the other side. I think she's secretly trying to ruin me. Wahh, no more Fumoffu. Princess Tutu is so funny in episode 17, though, Tammo! Watch! Intermission was hilarious. I think Tammo and I were the ones laughing the loudest at the short balloons-coming-to-life-and-injuring-many-people video. We're such cruel people. Full Metal Alchemist was good, too; I'm glad I downloaded it so that I can watch it again. What was funny, though, was when my friends and I cracked up (umm...well, actually I burst out laughing first, causing the chain reaction) when Al said that he wanted to "touch" Edward and feel his "warmth." And then the other side of the room tells us something like "You guys are such pervs." What?! What about all the comments they make about Fakia and Mythos (not to mention the stuff in Fumoffu)?! Just because I like to find undertones in everything,...

Went to Schneider and then to Dower (for the first time) after the showing (hee, I used to think Dower was Dowr or Dour, hee). It was funny, because two of us were used to snow and two of us weren't. So it was funny seeing how they liked the snow and played around in it on the walk there. Wonder how long they'll like it...

Played Kingdom Hearts and watched Xenosaga since Dower has a playstation (!). Sigh...I wuv video games. Looked at J-rock and anime music, too. Must get some of their songs... Then went to bed at like 4 am.

Woke up at 12, took a shower, and Saturday became extremely pissed at me. Maybe taking that shower earlier in the day than usual threw off my rhythm and luck or something. Anyway, turned on computer, went to the same places that I always visit, and got hit with a virus. Scanned computer and found two more. Crap. Did everything and got rid of the viruses. Ran VirusScan a million more times. Trekked through snow to get something to eat at Schneider. Went home. Got hit with two more viruses. Hopefully got rid of the problem (stupid System Restore). Need the report form to make sure. Must find ethernet cord that got lost under the bed when I pulled it out then. Spilled soda on carpeted ground. Spent forever cleaning that up. Found out that Jenno got two more holes in her ears without waiting for me to get mine done with her. So fucking mean... But a new Kaistern fic will make things all forgiven.

Now if my French oral exam partner would actually e-mail me right after reading my messages instead of 6 hours later, we probably could have gotten some work done today. But noooo, now I have to do it tomorrow when I also have to write a draft of my comedy paper for my meeting with the prof. on Monday. And I didn't even start it yet...

I wanna go back to Friday again and play video games and eat Pocky...

Took one of several breaks from my lab report and French studying to watch Full Metal Panic Fumoffu Special 1. Wow, it actually wasn't perverted (I guess 'cause it was supposed to air at the very beginning of the series). Well, unless you count the "play with him" line that the evil lady told her henchmen (to do to Sousuke). And I was really thinking, "Oooh, reference to Yohji!" when Sousuke pulled out his knife with a wire. I am too obsessed with Yohji... But I was pleasantly surprised at this half-episode. But where's the other half?

Just got back from my dorm's community dinner. So yummy. Shrimp scampi, this three-potato thingie, good salad, and cheesecake. I mustn't forget about the best part of the meal, though: the bread and butter! So good.

Am currently doing the results section of my lab report and trying to see whether I can have more than two graphs/tables for it. My last lab report had around six. Stupid Tribolium experiment where we didn't do anything except count beetles. Grrr, how do they expect a lab report for that?

Got the only two episodes of Triangle Heart on a whim. Art looks good, just don't know about the story. Want to browse around more to see what looks good that Tammo didn't get yet.

No time to chat, must work on lab report and study for French quiz on Friday.

Bwah ha ha. Tried doing homework yesterday, but sadly, that failed. Grrr, can't think up a stupid topic for my modern comedy paper. Grrr. At least I know I'm not the only one that didn't start it yet. The due date got moved back for it, though, so I'll probably focus more on my lab report than that.

Found some defective Matantei Loki Ragnarok episodes. Started downloading good copies. Jenn is making me download more and more for her. And what do I get in return? Nothing. How about writing me my Kaistern fic, Jenno? Otherwise, who's gonna download for you next year? Is it too much to ask for some guy-on-Kaistern action?

Thanksgiving break was fun. Did nothing but eat, watch Harry Potter movies over and over, and go to the dentist. I forgot how much I miss my rock-hard bed. Sneaking into our old high school and seeing our old choir was fun. Sure, they're not as good as last year, but it's nice to hear how everyone changed. Hanging out with Amanda and Courtney was a blast. It was fun hearing stories about how much our friends changed. Which makes me wanna start using AIM again, because I've apparently been missing out on stuff. Sorry, guys!

Got Kingdom Hearts. Am letting Tam play it now. She sucks at real-time action and fighting. Jenn is really good at it. I'm ok since I've played Phantasy Star Online and Tales of Destiny before. But Tam's slowly getting better. Very slowly... And she needs to send me songs!

Need to get started on work now...

No blogging for awhile. Well, until around December 1. Need to hang out with old high school buddies, shop, and go to the dentist at 8 am on Friday. Wahh, no sleep for me.

Burned Jenno CDs of Princess Tutu. She better be happy. And repay me with blank ones to make up for the ones that I used.

Hee, thanks for the Crash compliment, Jiayang! I do my best at things other than schoolwork and work my ass off there instead of doing papers and lab reports.

Currently am at work waiting for parents to come. My parents are here in my room, on my bed, my Dad snoring away. Wahh. So embarrassing. And Tammo, Jenno, and I didn't even know they were coming up today. Dad just left me an e-mail that I read at work around 1:15 pm saying they'd get here around six or seven. And I was like, "What the hell?! Tomorrow?" But nooo, they meant today, and obviously thought that they had told us when they really didn't. Fuck. And apparently Dad tailgated a person on the highway and caused a little accident. Let's just say he got a ticket for going too close (but seriously, wouldn't they have to ticket all tailgaters then? Fucking laws.) and the front of our minivan needs repairs. Double fuck.

I swear I am swearing too much now that I'm in college. Senior year of high school, it was all like, "Yeah, I don't mind other people swearing, because they're not really curse words, they're just words people make up, so it shouldn't matter whether anyone says them or not. But I don't curse, because, well, I have no idea why." But now every other sentence of mine is a frickin' curse word. Oh well. Maybe I'm turning into Jenno and Jenno is turning into me since her preppy friends don't really swear that much.

Tammo owes me big time for putting Mom and Dad up in my room. And don't remind me that you had to deal with them a lot during your last four years at Wellesley, because now that Jenno and I are in college, you know I'll get at least twice as many visits from them. Fuck. And I am giving you $200 for your grad school application fees. So nyah.

Finished French essay today. Just need to print it out. It doesn't seem to be as good as my previous A essay, though. Oh well. As if Ma Vie en Rose could really make me write a good essay. God, that kid needed to die.

Jenno will call you, Amanda! She has our yearbook. Are you gonna bring that Cruella coat down if you're not wearing it, Jenno?

Will probably burn Princess Tutu episodes 9-12 for Jenn tonight. Too bad, no episode 13 for her when they leave him to die in the lake. You can watch it when you come down during our finals week.

Need to buy a CD binder, perhaps more CDs, new earphones, sleeping pants or sweat pants, etc. when I get home.

Finished French essay. Now need to cut out words to make it around 450 words. Am 30 words too long. Not a bad thing, but she says she wants precise writing and good grammar. A sensible explanation, especially since I was about 50 words short one time and she didn't care. Plus, I'm liking the class more since I got my first Wellesley A on my French essay on La Parure! Am very happy. No B's, B+'s, or A-'s, an A!

On Friday, she asked me if I was taking French 205 next semester, which only people with A-'s or A's can get into and skip French 202. Was quite surprised, but at least I know she said that because of my mad writing skills. Funny, since most people are bad at writing and good at speaking in that class. Heh, I like it the other way around for me. But too bad I can't take 205 since I'm taking 202 for wintersession. And I'm probably still gonna live with Tam even if I have to pay to stay during that time - Tammo says it's all because of the food. Heeee.

While I'm still on the subject of French, I'm thinking I might want French Cultural Studies to be a possible second major. I definately don't want French as a major, considering my horrible speaking skills and slowly improving - but still slow - listening skills. Plus, I figured, I like history, why not do that? The only bad thing would probably be the 25 page papers and such for the history courses. Eeee, and that would get rid of my multi-culti requirement. As Val would say, "Ehhhxxx-ceh-lent."

Not so excellent is my philosophy paper on Mill. Got a pretty good grade, though, considering my prof. had objections to about every point I made in my paper.

Very excellent is my bio. lab. practical grade. Ehx-ceh-lent.

Finally put all of the music that I downloaded and got from Tam onto my playlist today. Am a little over 400 songs with the addition of Saiyuki Reload songs, Luna Sea ones, Gackt ones, etc. Oh, and that 15 minute Initial D Hyper-whatever song. Is good. But Tammo gave me even more music CD's to put on my playlist now. Will take long time to put on playlist. Maybe that's why I called it my "Unsorted Playlist." It never will be finished and will never ever be organized. Sigh.

Must get CD binders and burn CDs when I get back from Thanksgiving break. I'm down to 29 gigs now. That's sad. Am downloading too fast.

Anime club was fun on Friday night. Met up with friends there (and I did not ditch you, Tammo) and watched Fumoffu (which I already saw but was amused at the expressions of others). Then came Princess Tutu. And what do I hear from the Fakir-hating anime crowd after they watched episodes 10-13? I hear them going "Awww..." and "No! Ahiru, Mythos, you can't just leave Fakir to drown at the bottom of the lake! Go look for him! Gee, what good friends you are to him!" Uh-huh. Jumping on my Fakir bandwagon now, huh? I see how it is - only like the good guys when they're made clearly, plainly good. At least I liked him the moment I saw him. But everyone is perfectly welcome to join my Mythos - we hate the pansy boy - bandwagon. Just not my Fakir one.

Went to Schneider after the anime club. Talked about hot guys on guys while Tammo's posse (sans Tammo) was over at the next table. Jiayang came over and talked about Crash when they left. Me, I went back to Davis at 1:30 am, see that Tammo has called me, and called her back. Apparently, my friends seem to have been "glaring" at Junie, Laura, Rachel, Jiayang, and the rest of the gang. Hmm...didn't notice that. Well, they are a group of morbid people, so I just attribute their facial expressions to that.

Saturday, I found that I still don't suck at the Crash Team Racing game. Finished the CTR challenge for Papu's thing and Crash Cove in relatively little time as well as some other challenges.

Sunday, I handed in the stupid lectures funding forms. Grrr. Stupid lectures funding forms. Could have gone to Boston with peeps but they wanted to go too early and I didn't finish the forms until a little before they were due. Oh well. Wanted to sleep in anyway.

This is a really long post. Wow. I really should take a shower now. Good thing my first class tomorrow is at 11:10.

Can't wait for break! Amanda, what do you wanna do on Wednesday? Get Courtney, Steph, Lyndsey, or anyone else to hang out!

Stupid French essay! Why won't you write yourself?! Grrr...I don't really have to do it now since it's due on Tuesday, but I figure I'll have lots of other work to do (ahem*oral and lab report*ahem). And I must be in the minority, because I hated that kid Ludovic from Ma Rose en Vie. He was so annoying. Not because he wanted to be a girl rather than a boy (hey, we all know I'm liberal on that) but because he was so FREAKING stupid! Seriously, that character needed to die. And that's all on this subject.

Went to work today and casually mentioned that a branch was preventing my window from closing. Yay! One phone call later, and my window is closed and hopefully will prevent bugs from coming in! Ah, the perks of working for the people in charge of the maintenance guys. But what's funny is that I tried to call my roommate to tell her that the guy was coming. I couldn't reach her, so when I came back to my room, I asked if any guy knocked on the door. Turns out that both of my roommates were in when the guy came, and were really confused. But they let the grounds guy pull the branch out anyway. Whoops. Maybe I should've told them what I planned to do before I did it.

My back feels funny. Don't slump, Michelle!

Of course Full Metal Panic Fumoffu had to end on a pervy note. Sigh. No naked Sousuke, though. I think us Wellesley Fumoffu fans were deprived yet again.

THANKS FOR THE KAISTERN FIC, JENNO!!!! The light either doesn't show, indicating that it's on, and sometimes I can't even turn it on or off. Damn you, moniter.

It's been an easy week since all my stuff was due last week. But then it'll pick up after Thanksgiving break, especially since I think I have a Writing paper and a lab report due on or around the same day. Grrrrr.

Wahh...Full Metal Panic Fumoffu is over! I'll miss you severely, Sousuke, Chidori, and the rest of the gang (except Tessa and the other annoying people). Sniff...at least the anime club isn't done showing it yet.

Live action Sailor Moon act 7 came out today. I didn't like the storyline of episode 6, but this one was a little bit better. Hee hee, Kunzite plays the piano. And Zoisite is mentioned, too. And Sailor V shows up. What's with her shoulderpads?

Currently getting Outlaw Star 1-5. Will get 6-9 later. Must make CDs. It's bad when you use up 10 gigs in half a week.

So you won't be able to do anything on Wed., Amanda? I'm at work now. This week will actually be a little bit easier since all I have to do is read - and probably do some silly French essay. Oh well.

I'm currently in the process of getting all Cowboy Bebop episodes. It's funny, because I always get stuff on a whim. Last time, I got all 26 eps of Matantei Loki Ragnarok. I need to start burning these things soon. Oh yeah, and buy one of those CD cases, because Tammo likes to steal all of the ones that Dad buys for her ever growing collection of anime.

Gave Jenno more anime songs this weekend. She was very deprived. She was very surprised at Momo's great singing voice. Duh. Of course he's great. He's Momo! She finally heard the forever great "Cross with You" song, too. Oh, and now she's a Frou Frou lover, too, only that she calls them Fro Fro.

Decopaged a box yesterday. Pasted some black and white anime pictures on it. Looks cool, but it isn't done yet. Sanzo, Gojyo, and Hakkai (the same pictures as my wallpaper) are on it as well as my kawaii Yohji. These pictures on on the side of the box. Manga Tezuka is on the top. Yay! And Tetheus and Alfeegi from Dragon Knights are inside (since Kaistern couldn't cover up the box properly) along with Hiro and Arashi from Paradise Kiss. Must make another box for Jenno next week or give her this one.

Must go shopping when we go back to PA for Thanksgiving. Things are too expensive here. I like my cheap Hbg. clothing stores instead. Shirts must cost no more than $8 (although I usually only spend around $3-$5 on a shirt), and pants must cost no more than $10 (although I usually get $7 ones). Shoes, on the other hand, well I like shoes too much to limit the cost...

Amanda, since you're the only CD person that reads my blog now besides Jenn (for some reason, Becca doesn't want to read it and Courtney and Lyndsey died a horrible death), we have to do something when we get back to PA next week. How about Wednesday? Jenno will call you!

I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY RIGHT NOW. SO VERY FREAKING FUCKING HAPPY.

First of all, I would like to say that I was quite productive today. Even though I woke up later than I wanted to, I managed to finish correcting my French essay that needs to be turned in tomorrow. Now, at 10:08 pm, I have finally finished my philosophy paper on John Stuart Mill's Utilitarianism and On Liberty. Well, except the bibliography, but since the paper's not due until 6:00 pm tomorrow, I have plenty of time to revise and correct it, especially since lab will only be an hour instead of 3 1/2 hours due to a lab practical. Whee! And I actually have time to study for that tomorrow, too, since I can use up one of my absences and miss tennis class without harming my grade. But I'd also better study today, too, so my bio. grade doesn't go down the drain.

Speaking of bio. grades, I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY ABOUT MY BIO. EXAM. I far from failed it, and it was so much better than my first exam grade. Now I must focus on raising it more and more and more...

Back to philosophy. I AM ALSO SO FUCKING HAPPY THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO DO ANOTHER PAPER. Just the final. Now I just have to finish the readings, and then I can focus on my Writing: Comedy papers.

Episode 6 of live action Sailor Moon came out today. Sailor Jupiter comes into the scene! She actually looks like a pretty decent Jupiter since she's tall and has similar hair. Hee, hee and Kunzite (I hope I remembered his name) was so funny with his boots and his constant flapping of his cape. I wonder if they'll put the thing with him and Venus in the show.

Yes, we all wanted Sousuke to strip at the end of Full Metal Panic Fumoffu 14. But he didn't. *Sigh* And that would have made me more fucking happy today.

Awww...Full Metal Panic Fumoffu 14 was so cute at the end. I have to go to Comedy class in five minutes, and for today, we had to read other classmates' concluding paragraphs. And almost EVERYBODY (well, except the two cool people in Comedy class who also don't care for the people in the class) will be harshly criticizing everyone else's papers. Geez. And I won't even talk about how many grammar, spelling, and citation mistakes there are in these introductions and conclusions that I read. No, you DO NOT italicize when you already have quotation marks. AND ALWAYS SPACE TWICE AFTER SENTENCES, MORONS! GAHHHHH!!!!

Completely FAILED my bio. test yesterday. I am deadly serious. At this rate, my bio. lab grade will be the only thing preventing me from failing and possibly from getting a D in the class. Wahhh, and I made up such a stupid answer for a question about gills, and my professor will probably decide then and there after reading that horrible answer not to give me a research assistant job. Wahhh. At least I did ok on my bio. lab report that we got back today. Need to work on abstracts and introductions. Hee hee, and my lab professor commented that I used a lot of sources for my discussion when I really didn't do much with them at all.

Speaking of bio. lab, we had to take out a nerve from a frog leg today. And since it was a nerve, the frog was killed right before we started. It was cool seeing the other lab professors working on a recently killed frog. We even saw the heart that was cut out, and it was still beating then. When we took the nerve out of the frog leg, it kept on jerking and twitching since we tied strings around the nerve tightly. Eww. A dead smelly frog leg jumping out at us. Good times indeed. At least we got out of lab early. But then I met Val and hung out to see what she did with her research job. Poor Val. Someone didn't autoclave and now she's stuck there for a longer time today.

Got more Atobe and Tezuka songs today. Yay to Tammo for giving me them! Do well on GRE's! In the PoT Fire and Ice ones, Kirihara's song is pretty good, and Kamio's is, too. Haven't heard much of the rest yet, but Tachibana's sounds like the guy could have a good voice if he trained better. It sounds like he doesn't sing much. Hee, but we know Momo does!

I need sleep. Stupid waste of time that I could have spent sleeping but instead chose to study for that bio. exam. Damnit, why couldn't we have gotten more questions about neurons?! I so knew that, but what do we get? Only one freaking question on it! Grrr...

Studying for biology test. I actually woke up early at 8:00 am, which is strange since my classes started at 11:10. Oh, well, at least I got the second draft of my paper done. No classes tomorrow because of the Tanner Conference! Whee!

Watched a bit of the first episode of Rockman EXE Axess today. The opening song is so cool. Apparently, Netto and Rockman can undergo cross fusion, so Netto can now fight as Rockman in real life. Reminds me of Digimon.

Apparently, my Wellesley resume doesn't appear right on Tammo's computer. Wahh...the chibi Momo pictures are all out of alignment!

Special thankee to Tammo for finally giving me the screenshot of Kaidou. Mmm...

Watched the first couple episodes of the second season of Queer as Folk yesterday. Was quite amused seeing Justin get his head bashed with a bat while he was smiling. Why didn't you finish him off, Chris? Or use a metal bat (that we all agreed would have offed him). Or at the very least a crowbar (Half-Life!).

Also watched the 2nd episode of Saiyuki Reload after putting my clothes in the dryer (ARGH! Get your fucking clothes out of the dryers on time! Seriously, all of the dryers finished around the same time, but who fucking got them in a reasonable amount of time? NO ONE! Grrrr... *chibi Momo fists smack those people to the moon*). Anyway, the guys were hot; the plot was not. Who needs another giant bug rising up to destroy everything? Not me.

Gave Tammo tons of candy for Halloween. I hope she doesn't eat all of the Kit-Kats. Remember, Tammo, save some for me!

Poor Jenno is having problems with Bittorrent. Just like the problems I used to have. Only she can't fix them the same way I did. Poor, poor Jenno.

Finished my French essay. The amount of time I spent working on it makes me sad. I think writing 400 words in French is harder than writing a 5 page English paper. But then again, I probably spent more time on it to make it good and to make it balance out whatever grade I will get on my subjunctives test. Grrr...the savoir subjunctives messed me up in high school and now in college. Grrr...why can't I remember those forms?

I wuv Atobe's songs, especially "Cross with You" (duh), "Go to the Top," "Kokou no Tsubasa," and "Rakuen no Mukou" (I think that's the name). So cool. The Aozu songs with Ryoma, Fuji, Tezuka, and Oishi are very nice (that's the only way to describe them) while the Caps & Bins songs are quirky and fun. Except that I really can't stand Kikumaru's singing in the songs. Too...Kikumaru and "hoi hoi"-ish. Momo's the best one out of the group of Kikumaru, himself, Taka, Kaidou, and Inui. But why doesn't Inui sing? I'm sure he can if he wanted to. After all, he'd probably be better than Kikumaru is.

Hey, Amanda! Wow! You're updating your blog more than Jenno is!

Well, gotta go to bed or something.

My Wellesley resume is up! *cheers* Go visit, Wellesley people! The only thing missing is a Kaidou pic where he looks like a ho. Prince of Tennis 106 was just full of shots of our Seigaku boys in the bath together. Mmm. The only other good part was when Ryoma tried to sneak a peek at Inui's face sans ses lunettes. Unfortunately, Inui was wearing a sleeping mask. Darn. Well, anyway, I just hope he doesn't turn out to have really small and squinty eyes. Anything but that.

The French oral was okay, but at least I did well on my French quiz.

Heeeeee. Of the few referrers I have gotten, the best and funniest one is from Google: How do you say "My French Essay" in french? Heeeee.

Ten minutes before Comedy class begins. Just went to do a French oral exam with a French classmate of mine. We messed up a bit on our dialogue, but we managed to save face (in my opinion). Grr, but the question and answer part was a bit worse since I have a terrible accent when I have to make up what I say on the spot. Grr.

I can download again! Why does Bittorrent keep doing that to me? I keep having to uninstall it and fix it or download it again.

Another grrr. I lost my umbrella at the Science Center. Our French class needed to see a movie, but was anyone there to show it? Noo. So I had to watch it the next day, trekking across campus in the rain since my umbrella was lost. Damn. I should have taken the London Fog umbrella that I coincidentially found in the same place where I lost my dollar store one. Damn. And it poured today, too, so my hair is all wet and tangly.

I haven't blogged in quite awhile, so I'm sure I'm missing some things. I think I'll blog on anime sometime tonight or later this week.

Must go to class now...

Mwah ha ha. Just got all of Princess Tutu on my computer now since episode 11 finally came out in DVD format. Mwah ha ha.

Another teacher of mine was sick this week, so there was no tennis class today. But did I have time to check my computer while running around? Noooo. So I walked through construction for nothing and wasted much of my precious time.

I was all gung-ho about dissecting a fetal pig in bio. class. Sure, I was bad with scissors, but I improved (hopefully in the eyes of my lab buddy). All we basically had to do was identify organs, arteries, veins, etc. in preparation for our upcoming lab practical. But when we started on the arteries, everyone at my lab bench was like, "I'm so sleepy I could hardly fucking care about identifying any other small things that look alike." So we whizzed through the end and got out a half hour early. Yay. Too bad the dissection wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, though.

Certain people in class also turned in lab reports around 20 pages long. Personally, I think they suck for doing that and should get horrible grades (or at least be penalized), because who the hell would write a 20 page lab report for plant experiments that shouldn't drag that long? Puh-lease. It's an introductory biology course, and putting every freaking thing imaginable in the paper will not impress professors who want a concise summary and analysis of the experiments (and they were simple experiments, too). Grr...overachievers. But it's funny since that's what people told me I was last year.

Just got my Writing: Comedy paper back at 4:00. It was filled with tons of gum (that he forgot to leave me when he visited) and some Reese's and Kit Kats that I have to share with my sister (boo hoo).

Must go to library now.

Me is tired. Finished biology plant lab report today. It's 10.25 pages long in Times New Roman 11 font. Wahh. Now my lab manual is all messy with papers scattered everywhere. Many thanks to Tammo who looked it over. She should be a teacher since she writes and corrects papers like one. Hee hee.

Eww...Tessa's back in Full Metal Panic Fumoffu. Get your hands off Sousuke! Wahh, still no Kurz yet. I need to watch the end of the first season, but the second season is practically a whole new series. So why bother? Hee hee, me like the funny, perverted stuff in the second season.

If someone could get me a cute Fakir poster, I'd be forever grateful. But maybe I'll find some stuff on the series at Anime Boston. Come down for that, Jenn! Drag your fellow Colbyites down! P.S. The hat's very cute.

Had no writing class since the professor was ill yesterday. Wished for no class today, but no, that will not be possible.

The Wellesley Anime Conference is fun. Pret-ty pictures and funny ones (live action Sailor Moon!) keep making their way to the board. Tammo should stop being so vocal about her hatred of Yohji. He's my pretty bishounen katzchan. Very purdy (*drools*) in the manga. He and Schuldig (or Schuldich, whatever) should hook up and have hot passionate sex together. As for Aya, well, I only tolerate him when he's not an obsessive freak and when he's with Kenken.

See? Guys think about sex all of the time. I only think about guys having sex and making out with each other all of the time.

Me want more...

I'm at work yet again. Sigh...I think I work too fast. But I want my 4 hours today, dammit, so I'm not budging from this computer. At least Tammo is here to e-mail me, because she's also bored out of her mind at her workplace. But she gets paid two whole dollars more than me, so she shouldn't be too sad about that. Heh, I'm so bored that I'm asking the person whose office I'm in to teach me how to use the radio and direct the work guys to new jobs.

Yay! The due date for my Writing paper was postponed a week. Yay! But that means it's due near my bio. exam date and my philosophy paper due date, so I'll just do it next week so that I won't have to cram for my bio. exam. Must...raise...bio...grade...

Anime, anime, anime. Collected more wallpapers yesterday. Got a cute one of Fakir, because he's damn cool. Sent Tam a wallpaper of Weiss Kreuz's Kenken that was both slutty and cute. Also got a hot PoT one of all the guys (the picture where they're all wearing black and bits of red). Hee hee, my desktop icons cover up Fuji. Not that I have anything against Fuji, but yeah, he's probably like my least favorite Seigaku character. I need my Momo plushie now.

Is it a sign of PoT obsession when I try to do Kikamaru's "acrobatic" racket thingie with his hand during tennis class? It's hard to do, though, but I will master it eventually!

Must put up my super Saiyuki wallscroll. It's the one with the good picture of the guys on it (where Sanzo points his gun to his head, Hakkai points his gun at you, Goku looks like some street punk, and Gojyo looks like he's yawning or something). Must also put up my Rufus and the Turks poster. The bad thing about going shopping with Jenno is that we fight over who gets what, but fortunately, she generously (ha) gave me the poster.

Now that I've gotten almost all of Princess Tutu (damnit, Junie! Where's my episode 11?!), I need to start downloading more anime. Otherwise, I won't inherit Tammo's title of anime provider (*title toned down for blog readers*).

Queer as Folk! *cheers* Too bad Brian and Michael don't get together. And why does everyone like the Justin character? He's so...stalkerish and...other stuff.

Hmm, still have to do VSA treasurer stuff. But no one gives me all the receipts at the same time. Grrr...they should just give me the receipts at our meeting. Also must sponsor KSA. *thwacks head* Remember to fill that out, Therese. Help me out, Tammo!

Grrr...French oral exam either this week or next week. Too bad I won't be able to answer the teacher's questions since I suck at listening. You sure you don't want to take another language, Jenno? Well, I suppose you could always use my books for reference when I'm done with them.

This post is too long. And I probably forgot to put in all the stuff I wanted to stick in it. Oh well. Hope everyone had fun reading this.

I'm at work again. Closing work orders again. Trying to take up time. Again.

This weekend was fun, even though I couldn't do any homework since Jenno was and still is here. Wahh, bio. lab. report due Friday and Writing paper due Monday...all...three...drafts...

But it was nevertheless fun. Jenno and I went to Boston on Saturday. Of course, we just had to go when the Head of the Charles crew races and things were going on. Went shopping, spent lots of money on apparel, went to Tokyo Kid, spent even more money there, went to Porter Square, spent money on Japanese teriyaki fish and beef rice bowls.

Jenno, you better not mess up that coat of ours that we just got. Even though it's basically meant as a decoration rather than a real coat.

Also got Jenno into Princess Tutu. Yes, I'm turning her into a Fakir lover. Take that, everyone who said he's a part of FRO (Future Rapists Organization)! Grr...

May blog later about this weekend, but right now, I really can't think of anything else to say right now. Plus, I get out of work in 5 minutes.

Currently, I'm at work right now trying to take up time closing work orders. I think I work too fast; there was a huge overflowing pile at noon, but it's dwindled down to a very small one. So while I'm doing these closings, I'm e-mailing my Dad and Tammo and trying to call Jenn to see if she left Colby to come here yet. These things take up more time than my paperwork.

Wahh, there are more Princess Tutu episode seeds, but since I'm at work, I can't get them yet. Having classes from 8:30 to 12:10 and working from 12:30 to 4:30 sucks sometimes, especially since work is across campus. Oh well. I really was quite happy when my check for $154 came in the mail yesterday.

I like the position, but sometimes being VSA treasurer (not the work I just mentioned - it's a college organization) sucks sometimes, especially when bills and reimbursements come at the same time. Tammo, you should really go to more meetings.

Gahh, must go pick up treasurer book entry forms. Must also go to library to look for lab report references (or do it online) and another Plautus play to write my paper on.

I'm quite mellow today despite all the things I'm doing. Yay! I got an A- on my Plato philosophy paper, the one where I went past the maximum page requirement (that's a first!). I also got the same grade on my French essay on Le Grand Chemin. HA! Take that, crappy biology exam grade!

Hee, hee. I'm quite random today and posting quite madly...

Wahh...I just remembered (again) of how my mom brutally killed a huge potted plant that had been thriving in my family for over 20 years. You better remember my stuff, Jenn. And bring some gum, too. My parents brought many, many packs for me when they visited a few days ago, but we left them in the car. Sniff...

Haven't been doing much except for catching up on my reading (since I know I'll be super busy next week with my Comedy paper and my Bio. lab report). So my life is pretty boring right now.

I've been trying to download more of Princess Tutu, but goddamnit, there's no complete seed for most of the downloads. FUCK, FUCK, FUCK. Yes, it's really FUCKING frustrating. Maybe I'll get it from Junie instead if she can burn it for me.

At least this makes up for my lack of Princess Tutu:

You are Fakir (Fakia). And underneath the veil of bish lies a
bookish geek who tends to spazz at the sight of
female flesh. I would have yesterday, but I was busy napping and watching Queer as Folk. I only watched the first 9 episodes, but damn, it's good. Tammo and I think that Brian and Michael should get together. Now I have to watch the other seasons of the show (although I wish I could watch the UK version, too, because Charlie Hunnam was in it).

The shuffle button on my winamp player should be renamed "all Atobe, all the time." It was pretty uneventful but fun since I got to hang out with Jenn a bit. We met a lot of white people at Colby (it was parents' weekend there), including this ditzy blonde woman (who is the mom of one of Jenn's friends) that didn't realize that Jenn and I were twins; she actually thought that my older sister and I were. Strange lady. Anyway, after the Colby visit, we went out to Thai food and got a hotel by the beach.

Today, we went to Wal-Mart. Several times, several different stores. I don't even like Wal-Mart. But we needed stuff, and we weren't going to hack up three times the amount at Radio Shack.

So my parents and Tam and I made it home safely despite the pouring rain. We ate Thai food again. In large portions, too (not like that half a plate of lettuce that went along with each plate we had at the Thai place we ate at in Maine). And now I'm currently sitting here at 3:13 am typing in this blog. Actually, I would have been in bed now, but my roommate's (the one mentioned in the blog below) high school friend came over and we chatted. Turns out we both did not too well on our bio. exams. At least I'm not alone.

Before I go to bed, I want it known that from now on, I am officially (well, not really officially) the Keeper and Wielder of Chibi Momo's Fists and Kaidou's Hisssss. Seriously, I am. And I'll beat anyone who says otherwise.

I'm up pretty early today, because today's the roadtrip to Maine. My parents came up yesterday and stayed with Tammo, who neglected to inform me that she was sleeping in today and deprived me of a half an hour of sleep today.

Anyway, a TV and a VCR was brought up for us (well, my roommates and me). We didn't really know where to put it, so we just put it up on one of my roommate's dresser. It looks good there, so it's worth losing half of the top of my dresser space (sharing with said roommate).

There's been a lot of coincidences lately. For instance, a friend of mine casually mentioned a web site of hers, and when I looked at the address, it had the same domain as one of the sites that I visited often in high school (and still do, but not as frequently). Apparently, she and her friends make up that ring. We both thought this was really funny since I "knew" her before I met her. Also, it turns out that the new cell phone my parents got me turned out to be the same kind as my previously talked about roommate. Now I have to be careful and remember which phone is mine.

Bio. lab was pretty good yesterday. Even though I went first, my Powerpoint presentation turned out pretty well. Plus, our prof. even brought in some food for us. After that, we counted the beetles in our other lab. It wasn't too pleasant, seeing as there was gross larvae swarming all over. Yuck. Plus, our lab had to count some beetles from the other group's project, because apparently, not all of them can handle beetles. Our lab was done like 30 minutes before the other, but being the nice people we are (me?! nice?!), we stayed and helped them. They didn't seem as if they appreciated it much, though; they didn't jump up and say thanks when I finished the count - it took awhile for them to even acknowledge the fact that I was done and wanted to go away and finish my philosophy paper.

Speaking of my philosophy paper, it was handed in 30 minutes before the deadline of 6:00 pm yesterday. The paper length requirement was 5-7 pages (well, give or take a few lines). I don't know what's gotten into me, though, because my paper ended up being 7.25 pages with 11 font Arial and 1 inch margins. Why did I write so much? *frantic* Now I'm not in my "write just barely the minimum requirement and fix the page setup so that it makes it that length and looks nice and big."

Where is everyone? Just finished my Powerpoint presentation for bio. lab, and Powerpoint really was as easy as everyone said it was. Finished my French essay revision, too, but unfortunately, I didn't finish the rough draft of my Plato paper. What, me and rough drafts?! I had no idea! But surprisingly, I am writing a rough draft. The only thing is, the paper's due on Friday, so I'll have to finish the rough draft tom - i mean today - and revise it the same day. Oh, well. Time to put off even more reading and focus only on the paper today.

Must go to bed now...

Wow. Hey, Lyndsey! Hey, Amanda! When's Courtney gonna come visit this site? Grrr...

Anyway, this weekend was quite fun. I have no idea what I did on Friday other than get a B+ on my French essay (which my Dad said was pretty good for that class), but it probably wasn't anything worth remembering then. On Saturday, I got to sleep in until twelve; I was quite happy about that. Then I went to Boston with another anime lover. We went to Tokyo Kid, and I got myself some anime crap (which is good, because I'm always shopping for other people - no, they did not have your manga, Jenn) - a Momoshiro keychain to match my Kaidou one (it's purpley, but at least it's not orangey like Kikamaru!), two posters (one of Vash the Stampede and another pretty one of Lantis and Eagle sitting together outside - HA, Jenn!), and a nifty gothy looking Angel Sanctuary mouse pad (I'll get the chibi Slayers pad later). Then, we ventured off to Porter Square, taking the subway (yes, everyone back in PA who told me there was no subway in Boston, there is one). We got lost looking for a Japanese market, and then when we asked a lady, she told us it was right around the corner. Duh. And I've even been there before. Of course, I got my Pocky there. Who can resist Pocky, especially since it has so many flavors, like Men's Pocky?

Today, I slept until 11:30 am, and then, while running to my VSA meeting to inform them of our treasury funds, tripped and got this ungodly, unnatural, too green stain on my jeans. Seriously, grass stains that are that green are weirdly creepy. After the meeting, I ran back, washed the jeans, then ran to the Science Center to try to help my big sis and another person (Val, do you read this blog?) with her senior thesis research. "Helping" just meant vortexing and doing my French homework. But at least we all went to Schneider afterward to eat. I think I've been eating too many hamburgers over there. That's the downside of having my dorm's dining hall closed for the weekends - we have to go to Schneider and get lots of free salad, soup, Pizza Hut pizza, fried foods, hamburgers, and other fattening things. But at least trekking all over campus gives me exercise.

(thirty minutes pass...)

...I'm back after the fire alarms went off in our dorm and after my parents called. Yay, I'm getting a cell phone! They said I could pick which phone I wanted, because Jenn already got all the good stuff (like that huge-ass 4.4 cubic feet refrigerator). I'm so happy. This weekend turned out to be pretty cool, because I got a lot of new stuff.

Oh yeah, now I know what I did on Friday. I did my laundry. Considering I last did it a month ago, it took me a considerable amount of time. At least I don't have to do it too often. It's a good thing I have my own closet so I can bring loads of clothes to wear for school.

My biology exam is finally over. That's good, but the bad thing is that I really can't predict how I'll do on it.

Comedy class is still interesting but weird. For one thing, we all know about what Plautus likes to do in his comedies, but we still have to "analyze" everything, which basically translates to everyone trying to be smart by giving out the most obvious answers. Sigh. And these answers are from people who apparently went to high schools without "projectors in which you had to manually click and change slides" and who currently complain about going to work "all day" and having to "lift heavy things." Uh-huh. Why don't they try going to a high school with these kinds of projectors, a leaky roof, moldy bathrooms, and an often-flooded parking lot? And why don't they ever try working at a supermarket where you had to both ring up and bag the customers' groceries (mostly using both paper and plastic, because "it's easier to carry" - listen up, idiots, paper bags are MEANT to carry a lot of heavy groceries, and you're killing both trees and the earth using both paper and those plastic bags that don't decompose until way after you die) AND stick them in the cart most of the time since most of the customers there are old, retired people who buy watermelons and other groceries that they can't even lift? And I highly doubt working 4 hours is considered "all day." I'd consider that working 8 hours or more is "all day," and it's harder work, too, especially when no one gives you your freaking break and you have to stand up all day.

It's not that my Comedy class is mean or stupid. It's just that they tend to talk too much about themselves and how great their old schools were and such, and with the things they say, sometimes you just can't help and think, "Spoiled brats..." Which, in a way, they are, because most of the people I know on campus didn't apply for financial aid or anything. Can anyone say "stupid," because why the hell wouldn't they apply for financial aid? Even if they were like millionaires, they still should have tried getting some money. Yeah, apparently they don't want to save their parents money, and they don't want a nice trash can from the aid society either. It's all about the trash can.

You can see what I'm talking about when you visit me, Jenno...

Looking back on what I wrote, I know I was really venting and was probably too mean, but that's because I've been too busy this week, and things probably bugged me more then. Oh well.

I count many forms of the verb "to be" in this post. That's another rambling, since I couldn't use those forms at all in writing my Comedy paper. Forms of the verb "to be" will run rampant in this blog!

Wahh! My crappy Comedy paper was finally turned in today! Yay! And we didn't even get any dark chocolate for all of our hard efforts. My paper turned out to be a few lines short of the minimum 5 pages, but I figured it was okay since it was in 11.5 font. After all, some other people had papers shorter than four pages.

Maybe I should print another copy of my paper out so I can tear it to shreds using various sharp objects...

PoT 93 subbed came out yesterday! Even if he does dress like a slob, Momo is still freaking cool. And he has purple eyes! I've never noticed that before, but now that I do, I like him more, which is a strange thing to say since he's still my second favorite character in the series. Kaidou, who's at the top, has never had any competion.

Heh heh heh. I'm done with my French essay! Of course, I still have to tweak it some more, and I'm not sure if I should have used the present tense instead of the past tense (including the imparfait), but oh well. Now onto studying for my bio. exam and writing my final comedy draft.

Today was pretty uneventful. Went to classes, went to work, did homework. Why is that all I talk about?

I want a Kaistern fic, dammit, and I want it right now. My sister just had to write an Atobe/Tezuka PoT fic instead. I think I need some caffeine, though, since I've been giving myself too many breaks this past hour.

Princess Tutu is downloading too slow. I know it's four episodes, but it seriously is slow considering that I started downloading it at noon. The only thing bad about it is the name. I love the storyline, and the music is great, too. For some reason, it kind of reminds me of Alice in Wonderland (which is weird since I never read the whole book). Plus, it doesn't hurt that I wuv Fakir. I knew he wasn't evil - he's just a cute, overly protective knight. Me want more.

What the hell?! Three KiB a second?! Now it's two! After all, I have a comedy paper due on Wednesday (which I didn't start yet), a bio. exam on Thursday, a French essay due on Friday, a bio. lab due on Friday, and a philosophy paper due on October 10. But even though I got out of lab class an hour early, I still wasted my time. The anime club had its showing today, so I went there. Princess Tutu is actually pretty good, even though there are all sorts of undertones to it. It's cool, kind of like a slightly mature (even though it's aimed at kids) fairy tale. After that, I went around with some people trying to find the secret shower in the science center, but all we found was a bathroom which wasn't so secret. But it had a shower in it...

I've got to stop getting new wallpapers. I'm doing it right now, and I'm happy since I found a bunch of Houshin Engi ones.

Must do work soon...

On the other hand, maybe I want to be a neuroscience major...

For some reason, I'm really not stressed out as much as I should be. I mean, I've got a comedy paper due next Wednesday that needs 3 drafts, and I haven't even started on it yet (let's hope it doesn't require too much in-text citation). Plus, I have a philosophy paper due on October 10 and a bio. exam on the 1st. But I'm really mellow for some reason. I'm even cool about the fact that if I want to double major in bio. and psychology as well as going pre-med., I'll have to double up on lab courses and take at least one psych. course every semester after this (and the other slots on my schedule would go toward fulfilling school requirements). Oh, well. I better shut up since I talk about school too often.

My sister needs to write me a Kaistern fic. Seriously, she needs to drop all that she's doing and write me one. Don't please Tammo with the fic she wants, just give me the fic I want!

One of my roommates and I want to go see Freddy vs. Jason sometime. It's neat since sometimes we talk with each other before going to bed, even though we're like pooped during the day and can't think of anything to say to each other then. So far, we plan to get a TV (hopefully one from my parents) to watch CSI, Angel (because it's going to be cool with Spike), Gilmore Girls, and Law & Order. We also plan on roaming around Boston on a "roommate bonding" day (well, make that "2/3 roommate bonding" since our other roommate would probably rather be out with her boyfriend). We're currently wondering how many of these things we're actually going to do...

My older sister, Tammo (nickname, not a real name), gave a presentation for a biology symposium today. Go, Tammo! She was really good, even though some of the stuff just blew my mind. Plus, there was free food after, and that's always good. Sometimes I think Wellesley people like to give out a little too much food, though.

Yeah, I know Mondays are usually horrible, but Monday was quite friendly to me today. I got to sleep in since I didn't have a class until 11:10, so I was charged up enough to make me not fall asleep in bio. lecture. Considering that it took me like 4 hours to read 15 pages of bio. (well, not really 4 hours when considering the many "breaks" I took in between), I was surprised that I actually understood what the teacher was saying.

Well, my comedy prof. returned our Aristophanes introductions to us today. Everyone got C's, C+'s, B-'s, and one person got a B. I got a B- since I didn't put in my procedure for my thesis. Sigh...but seriously, I thought the paper of the person that got a B was kind of weird and confusing. I guess that's just me. At least I didn't get a C on mine. That sure would have put to waste the whole weekend that I worked on it.

(Returning to the subject of biology) I spent like 3 hours working on my lab, and I still didn't get everything done. I'm actually happy since I don't really have that much to do this weekend. I will the next week, though, since I'll have two papers to write along with a biology exam. My writing prof. didn't give my class our introductory paragraph papers back yet, though, so I don't think our other papers should be due the 29th, considering we didn't even talk about it much. Sure, I could get one draft done and hand it in as my final one, but I don't think I'd be able to write two rough drafts and a final draft that are completed revised and therefore different from each other. I won't even get started on my philosophy paper...

Friday was nice. I just hung out after going to classes from 8:30 to 4:30, eating pizza and playing Crash Team Racing. I'm so productive.

Grr...but I'm kind of mad since my sister at Colby apparently had a great AIM chat with a bunch of our friends while I was offline and doing homework at the library. I really would have liked bashing on people that I didn't like from high school.

Yay! My biology lab report took me a hell of a long time to finish. I'm still not done with it, and I have class in 9 and a half hours. There's no sleep for me. Plus, to make things worse, I see all these other people with nothing to do in my dorm. Why don't they have any fucking homework to do?

Sigh...I have to see a French movie on Sunday and a biology video sometime before Tuesday, too. And that's not mentioning my Writing: Comedy paper due on the 29th (which no one has started yet since the teacher says nothing about it). Speaking of Comedy class, we watched another Aristophanes play. It was Frogs, and the people were hilarious and had great singing voices. Of course, my class started to sing along with Xanthias, and of course, they did not have good voices. And it takes them so fricking long to catch on to the melody, so I'm the only one singing (under my breath) on the verses other than the chorus.

I really should do my homework now...

It's a lucky streak; I keep getting my favorite characters. I'm back after getting rid of a virus on my computer. Stupid virus. Anyway, this week seems like it's a good week, aside from wracking my brain writing an introduction about two of Aristophanes' plays. What is it with me and papers? It takes so frickin' long to write them since I can't think of anything to say. I wrote a French essay of 350 words yesterday that took me around 3 and a half hours to write, because I couldn't think of anything else to go with why autumn was my favorite season.

I watched "Pirates of the Caribbean" again on Saturday. Maybe it's just me, but $6.50 is a litte expensive for an early afternoon movie ticket.

Work yesterday went pretty well, considering I hadn't had anything to eat and work ended at 4:30. It's pretty easy, compared to my Weis Markets job as a cashier. After all, I don't have to check out and bag groceries for old people who can't lift anything but still want paper bags, stingy people who can't read coupons, and those other people who rudely ask if I'm twelve (sigh...I'm 18, morons!). There were some really nice people, though. I'm just not up for the manual labor anymore. At my college job, I can sit down practically all the time, typing or xeroxing. Plus, the employees there apparently throw parties for every event possible.

Go read Calico's PoT fic about Kamio and Sengoku. It's on Fanfiction.net. After that, read my review for it.

What a fucking day it has been. First, I wake up later than expected at 10:15 a.m.. Of course, I'm like, "Oh my GOD!" since that's what I usually think when I'm really late for something. So, wondering why I didn't hear my alarm clock go off, I rushed downstairs to sit at the bell desk of the dorm. Actually, only people who live in the dorm next to ours (they're Stone, we're Davis) are doing the bell desk this semester, but stupid me decided to help out and get my bell desk hours done this semester. So I sit there, and I sit there for the next shift, hoping that doing the extra shift will exempt me from doing a penalty bell shift. Of course, that makes me a bit late for biology class, and I'm running around trying to get dressed after the shift. And as I'm wearing myself out, my roommate (who has no classes today) just suddenly pipes up from where she's laying in bed, saying that she turned down the volume on my alarm clock so that she would sleep better. Uh huh. She doesn't like people touching her things, yet she fiddles with my alarm clock (which, by the way, is not as loud as her alarm clock is).

On the bright side, I didn't doze off in bio. class since I was too energized. But seriously, it was such a rough day running to the bell desk, running to bio. class, and trekking all the way across campus to get to my job.

On another bright note, I watched PoT 99 with my sister yesterday. Kaidou, Kaidou, Kaidou, why do the writers always make you do such stupid things sometimes? And Momo...he looked so hot, probably since he was wearing his school uniform and not clothes that he picked out. In the next episode (the landmark 100), Tezuka's here! Yay!

Well, that's all for now. Sigh...too much homework.

Wahh...it's only Wednesday. Yesterday, I blatantly tried napping in philosophy class, made up an excuse to drop that crappy choir, and read like crazy. Seriously, Plato needs to be punished for his writings on Sophocles and his trial. I also got trained by my big sis where she works. Everyone's so friendly there. They even had a party that day which included wine and beer. Now don't they sound like fun?

Looks like my other sister (the one up at Colby) has an even crappier choir than the college choir here. Hey, at least she's getting into the Kudou Yohji craze. I wuv Yohji, especially the manga version. Hmm...I think I'll wear my Yohji pin today.

Tam (the big sis that trained me but doesn't wuv Yohji), you better get PoT 99. At least we both wuv Kaidou.

In better news, I won something in this multicultural orientation raffle that Wellesley held. They told me to choose 3 CDs, and since all the CDs seemed bad, I just picked out some stuff. We were all pretty much like, "Oh my god, she's speaking to us in English; that can't be good." But those two classes are over, and all I have is a bio. lab. Sigh.

Yesterday, I went to the Wellesley choir practice. Let's just say that five minutes into it, I was ready to smack all of the squeaky, vibrato-less, musically disinclined people in the choir. You see, I went to Central Dauphin High School in Pennsylvania, and the CD Singers that I was in was a mixed group of people with great voices. Yes, I'm bragging here, but we were really, really good. I hope the Singers are doing well without us seniors that were there last year. Anyway, I'm getting out of choir since I'm getting a job the days it meets for practice, so it really doesn't matter for me.

Sigh. Bio. lab in an hour and a half.

Well, it's Thursday already. I had French class and Writing: Comedy today. Looks like I'll be writing at least 6 papers for at least 2 classes this semester. But the comedy class really was quite fun. At night, PE registration took place. I went an hour early, brought my homework, gave death glares to people who tried to cut in line, and registered for tennis an hour later.

Full Metal Panic? I don't really update this thing as often as I'd like. Well, the first day of classes at Wellesley began today. The only classes I had were Introduction to Moral Philosophy and Intermediate French: Language, Grammar, and Literature. The philosophy class was soooo boring. Maybe it's because it was scheduled at 8:30 in the morning. I don't know about that class. I really can't take any other class, so maybe I'll just stick with it.

I have nothing to do all day now, except that darn French homework. It's Sunday! I'm so happy since the Wellesley College sister-to-sister discussions have been cancelled. No one came yesterday, so they were smart enough not to spend more time or money on it. That means my whole day is free!

Yesterday, I went out to Boston with my Boston-friendly friend who lives right above me and my Japanese friend that lives across the dorm. This was my second time visiting it, and I was ecstatic about all of the neat shops out there. We roamed around Harvard Square, going to Planet Aid. My twin sister Jenn would love the clothes at that store as well as other ones. Although a bit used, the clothes are super cheap, and the store is a nonprofit organization. Later, we went to Tokyo Kid in the Garage, where I bought posters, Pocky, and Prince of Tennis keychains for my whining sisters and me. It's too bad I got the Pocky there, since my friends and I actually went to a cheaper Japanese market in Porter Square then.

To add to my busy yet fun day, I went to a birthday party that my older sister and her friends held. A few notes at the party were:
1. I apparently had "Asian glow" after half a bottle of Hard Mike's. Sure I get red, but I don't get drunk that easily. Hell, it would take me ten shots of rum before I got drunk.
2. The movie 'Office Space' rules.
3. The movie 'Rush Hour 2' kicks ass whenever you see it.
4. My older sister received the game 'Final Fantasy X.' I should smack her right now.

Well, I have to go to a PoT party soon. That should be loads of fun, especially if Slutboy Kaidou is in it a lot.

Man, I wanted to be in a lower level of hell.

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Fifth Level of Hell!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
<table cellspacing="1" style="margin: 5px; This is my very first blog, introduced during my very first week of college. I'd like to thank Tammo for helping a computer illiterate person hook up her computer on campus and getting me this blog.

College is fun. Sure, there are overly preppy and overly stuck up people on campus, but I have a great dorm. My triple is pretty big, and I'm near to my Tammo.
